MK McFadden is a writer and director who grew up in the Southeast. She holds an M.F.A from Full Sail University and a B.F.A. from Savannah College of Art and Design. Currently, she works in Tech.
In a previous life, she has worked in post-production on various television shows, including the Peabody award-winning Season 1 of Surviving R.Kelly.
MK considers herself to be a storyteller first and foremost. She strives to tell tales that grapple with the effects of knowledge on a person, community, and society at large.
Her belief about life is that when we all learn to look outside of our idea of life, we are able to become better people.
When not working on her own projects, she enjoys training for races, reading, and staying up far past her bedtime.
