Recap: 2016 Resolutions

It’s December 31st and this time last year, I scribbled down 12 resolutions that I wanted to work on. It was all very spur of the moment and I was sure that I never would achieve any of them and I wasn’t too attached to achieving any of them. But I did. I got 10 out of the 12 down which about 83% AKA a success in my book.

This year was a hot mess on a global stage but my personal 2016 was pretty great:

  1. I moved to LA
  2. Joined a writer’s group.
  3. Wrote 2 NEW scripts
  4. Finished a book
  5. Started working out
  6. Made a long-term financial savings plan
  7. Started reading more
  8. Started working in my field on purpose.
  9. Did something toward my writing career everyday
  10. I tried a lot of new things.

I feel stronger physically and mentally going into 2017. I had a great year and I’m going to need this optimism if I am going to accomplish my 2017 goals (all 20 of them)

So Happy New Year folks!
