I need to find a wife to type all my stories

It’s April and a few days until my birthday and I keep thing about this EW article that I read earlier this week. This man is compiling tons of acknowledgements by male authors who asked(? or begged or forced?) their wives to type out their manuscripts (one guy did had 14 drafts FOURTEEN).

I need me a lady like that in my life.

On a serious note, I couldn’t make anyone that I wasn’t paying or giving co-writing credit type out my stories for me. That is just cruel. Especially since I don’t want to type out my stories and I have genuine interest in my work.

I haven’t been writing much. It’s more a willing mind, unwilling flesh situation. My day job makes me feel like a 82-year-old former bricklayer and all I want to do when I get home is watch TV. I just have to get back in the swing of life.

I’m just going to take it one day at a time (every time I say this, I think of the new Netflix show and Gloria Estefan’s amazing theme song). I have so many ideas swimming in my head that it’s all I can do to get them down fast enough.

I don’t want to lose them because I was tired. So I’m going to power through, starting today.

Also if you haven’t heard this amazing theme song, here it is for your listening pleasure and if you have Netflix and like sweet funny comedies, One Day at a Time is a great choice.
